Morana creates expansion plan for cities in the State of Bahia

Observing the potential of cities of Bahia, Grupo Ornatus, franchiser of the accessories franchise Morana, has created an expansion plan including two important cities: Feira de Santana and Teixeira de Freitas.

Feira de Santana is the second largest city of the State regarding population, only behind Salvador. Having around 630 thousand inhabitants, the city has one of the GDPs that grows the most. The importance this city has is based on macro-regional exchanges that, in many cases, surpass the State borders and involve in these flows the manufacturing, as well as the whole chain of distribution, combining the riches created by the agricultural, industrial agents, merchants and service providers.

Teixeira de Freitas also draws attention because of its growth, location and population – around 160 thousand inhabitants.  The city, located south in the State, is the main city of its region. The agricultural sector is responsible for most of the hiring, followed by the services and trade sector.

“The city of Feira de Santana has a great economic potential. The proof lies in the great retail movement existing in the city, with a Shopping mall and a great flow in the street trading. Teixeira de Freitas also has very favorable perspectives for franchises chains, which always look for cities of regional prominence”, explains Marcio Ucha, Grupo Ornatus Expansion coordinator.

In Grupo Ornatus, the Morana chain investors count on a feasibility study, support in choosing and negotiation of the commercial point location, in addition to accounting and legal support. Another differential is in the support, such as the provision of the architectural project, guidance in the sales team hiring phase for the store, promotion and marketing strategies designed and followed-up by a specialized team.

The initial investment value in a Morana operation is of approximately BRL 225 thousand. For further information on the brand and the expansion plan for the cities of Feira de Santana and Teixeira de Freitas, visit www.grupoornatus.com.
