Morana shines again

August 2017 went down in Morana´s history. The women’s accessories chain, from Grupo Ornatus, achieved two major awards that reinforced the brand’s growth in the costume jewelrie’s retail market. Considered one of the greatest costume jewelries and accessories stores in Brazil, Morana got off on the right foot by winning the awards Alshop Lojista 2017, – fashion category - costume jewelries and accessories; and POPAI Brasil 2017, Store Design category, stores of up to 121 m², with the new store concept, at Morana Center Norte.

The awards took place on the 2nd, at Transamérica Expo Center (POPAI 2017); and on the 3rd, at World Trade Center (Alshop Lojista), both in São Paulo´s capital. To Jae Ho Lee, Grupo Ornatus’ CEO, these achievements were the recognition of a work performed in partnership with the directors, collaborators and franchisees. “The award is not only important as recognition, but also helps us improve our practices, develop new management projects and brainstorm new strategies for the chain”.

Lojista Alshop

Created in 1998, Lojista Alshop Award annualy acknowledges the main players in Brazilian’s shopping retail and is already a tradition in the national’s retail calendar.In its last edition, the Award counted on more than five million votes from consumers all over Brazil, who elected, in each category, the brand that most belongs on their daily lives.

With the intention of generating more visibility to the honored, sponsors and supporters of the event, the 19th Lojista Alshop Award was held simultaneously to the 17th Brasilshop International Retail Congress. The traditional lunch for the finalists took place during Brasilshop, honoring the 135 finalist’s brand, with Morana among them.

At the end of the day, the brands that won the 45 categories were introduced to more than 1,500 shopping retail professionals who were at the event.

POPAI Brasil

The 2017 edition of POPAI Brasil had 143 works submitted and more than 40 renowned brands as finalists in 7 categories: Displays and Merchandising Items Group; Special Projects Group; Trade and POS Ambiance Project; Promotional Campaigns Group; Projects for Store’s Design and Architecture Group; Eco-efficiency Group; and Academic Work.

POPAI Brasil Award is the main national award that recognizes most original and effective projects of commercial architecture, visual merchandising, visual communication, displays and communication at points of sale.
